MaRS Phase II
We extend our congratulations to the Bregman + Hamann, MaRS and PCL teams for their collaborative effort and professional handling of the design assist and the cost evaluation process that allowed this project to proceed. As part of the design assist team, Sota Glazing Inc. introduced new innovative features, such as integrated extruded aluminum fins and a unique, custom, fully unitized soffit design. These enabled cost and labour efficiencies capable of meeting the demanding budget and schedule requirements. Sota Glazing Inc. also shipped and installed an average of one full floor per week to this large floor plate to successfully meet aggressive enclosure dates. Overall, this clean and contemporary wall design by Patrick Fejér, B. Arch., OAA, MRAIC, LEED AP, will provide a sophisticated anchor to this highly visible site for many years to come. |
