EDMONTON PLANT positions:
SOTA Glazing Inc. is expanding into Alberta and recruiting to fill the following positions in our Edmonton Facility:
Assembly Line Supervisor- 2 Positions (Positions Filled)
A manufacturing background in an assembly line environment is essential. Strong communication skills, ability to read fabrication drawings and manage up to 20 people on an assembly line is required. Experience with Curtain wall preferred.
Quality Assurance - (Position Filled)
Candidate will be trained to ensure that production meets all specifications. Quality control experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
Material Picker / Sorter - (Position Filled)
Must be able to read and understand fabrication drawings, sort and match component parts with assembly drawings, and group materials for assembly lines.
Assembly Line Workers -(Position Filled)
Will be trained for positions on assembly lines. Work tasks are varied and require periods of standing and occasional lifting.
Shipper / Receiver - (Position Filled)
Shipping experience with handling large, crated materials is required. Candidates will have strong organizational skills and be able to manage a crew.
Drafting Personnel -(Position Filled)
Candidates must have a strong working knowledge of shop drawings, fabrication and component releases. Minimum 3-years drafting experience with Auto-Cad is essential. A structural steel or curtain wall detailing background preferred.
